First Draft

First draft of the eggheads website is now up. Unfortunatly I made a stupid mistake and replace the index file of my portfolio, so that needs sorting out.
The first draft is pretty simple, and looks bold and cartoony to go with the theme. Im hoping to get another draft done by next week, and then we can choose from either, and maybe pix and mix the best bits from both.

We should be getting our proper webspace this week, so we will also be able to start some coding.

Keep tuned.

Project Meeting #1

From the desk of James Willock, deputy junior assistant to the project manager, director of abject fatalism.

On the 28th of January, the group collected for our first makeshift brainstorming session of the project. The following was determined:

Group members:
Team name:
  • The Eggheads

The brief describes the requirement to design and build an interactive game website using resources from the Internet, and locally in Hull. Our idea thus far is to create an "Easter egg hunt" (as the hand-in date for the project is around Easter), where in order to collect the eggs the user must answer a question or riddle. After collecting all the eggs the user will be presented with a victory message or reward.

The themes of the questions should be centred around Easter, or Hull, and the user will have several "hints" that they may take advantage of each question.

We plan to meet again on the 4th of February to discuss our aims further.
